Fashion Through the Years

My obsession with fashion history and hair takes form! Starting from the right we have 1900s to 1920s in the top row, and 1930s to 1950s in the bottom row. I wanted to try something with a more iconish/minimalist style, so I left out the eyes. Kind of like what you'd see on an infograph. Not sure if that was a good idea so I may put them in someday.

Paris

I finished this weeks ago but forgot to upload it, because I have the memory of a goldfish. I feel like I could tweak this even more but at this point, I think it's best to move onto the next project. Otherwise I'll be working on this for another month or so.

La Petit Marie WIP

I'm still working on this. I'm a sucker for anything French and or Rococco, so Marie Antoinette is like my new muse. Here she is in all her cute glory--I'm thinking of making her chubby because of all that cake she ate. ;)
Love Little Marie.

Happy Birthday Cakes!

My birthday just passed, so I think it's appropriate to upload some cakes. :) Because who doesn't love cake? There's cake of all kinds: vanilla cake, fancy cake, chocolate cake, etc.

Paris WIP

The overwhelming positive response to my set of four SF illustrations, has inspired me to create more. I'm working on other cities of the world, starting with Paris.

Updates

Managed to give my site a much needed update. I still need to clean up the coding and make other small corrections, but at least there's new material to show people I'm not dead. :/

May Maestro

It's already May? Seriously? I've been looking at a lot of images of Marie Antoniette and other Roccoco period art--so I made drew an Amadeus Lady. Well, I found a rough sketch hiding amongst my files. The anatomy's a bit wonky though, and it needs to be cleaned up with more detail.

Long winter hiatus is over

Here's a preview of what's to come.

It'll be part of a set of four illustrations inspired by San Francisco. It turns out that Victorian homes are very fun to draw!
