Time flies way too fast these days. January's already almost over! I'd better get to coloring the February drawing soon.

Belle of the Ball

I know I haven't updated in awhile, even though I have been drawing a lot. I haven't had much time to refine anything lately. Basically I don't want to dump only a bunch of sketches onto this blog. I'm not a huge fan of how this illustration turned up, but it's alright for a first try at a sexy/pinup character.

These are some sketches that I cleaned up a bit, but didn't have the time to ink and color them. Too busy with work and other important things, like Fable 2. I'm liking the new look of the blog, but it still could use some work.

...and now I present Tim Bob.

Cute caricature of my boyfriend painting. It's a dorky thing to do I know that, but with his big eyebrows and shaggy hair, he's pretty fun to "cartoonize". His art style is the complete polar opposite of my own. I'm cute animals/people and bright colors, he's like abstract/creepy monsters/robots and subdued hues. So depicting him like this is kind of amusing.

I know that the perspective on the easel is all sorts of messed up, but I ain't fixing it. :P

Loopy Lupe

Something I drew in a coffee shop the other day and like enough to color it. She was supposed to look a little crazy, but I kind of lost some of that during the coloring process.

Teeny Girl

This is a cute little character that appeared on my sketchbook one day. I'm really digging her pigtails. I hope to color her soon, and maybe create some friends for her to play with. As a matter of fact, I may have to put her in a story.

Just use gel.

I have crazy big hair. It never does what I want it to do, and it always gets in my boyfriend's face. One day, he said, "Your hair attacks me every night." I thought that was a good idea for a character. So I created this girl who literally has hair with a mind of its own. If you look carefully, you'll see it's forming the shape of a sinister hand. :) I drew in a style I normally don't use. It's almost Tim Burton-ish. Almost.
I hope to do more with her. I want to create more characters from her world, but first I think I'd better name her.

Sad, Happy, Happy, Sad

First up is the weirdest thing I've ever made. I was inspired by, believe it or not, the plastic used for the Pepsi 6 bottle packs. I'll have to get a picture of it so that you can see what I mean. I loved these guys so much, that I had to use one for my profile image.
